Rockbound Lake, Banff

Escapando el finde went for another hike in Autumn to Rockbound Lake, just behind the nice walls of Castle Mountain, in Banff National Park.

Escapando el finde with Carlitos, Mehrzad and Mai went this Saturday to this beautiful easy hike in Banff National Park. Before getting to the start point of the hike we saw a huge Grizzly bear that was crossing the road, pretty excited.

The hike is about 18 km round trip and 800m elevation gain. The trekking goes by a nice forest most of the time and with a beautiful views from Castle Mountain and Eisenhower Tower. Also in the way to the Rockbound Lake you can see the Tower Lake that at this time of the year is completely frozen.
