Johnston Canyon, Banff

Escapando el finde was in one of the most popular an easy hikes in Banff National Park, Johnston Canyon.

With Carla, Juli, Carlos and Rafa we went to Banff on Sunday for this nice but super crowded hike to Johnston Canyon. The hike is easy and pretty flat what with super scenaries with lots of big and small water falls, trees but not to many animals.

This trekking short and easy you can extended to the inkpots, natural water ponds with different colours  . Is nice to hike to them because not many people goes so far so is perfect for a pic nick break or even a nap.

Waterton National Park II

Escapando el finde was in Waterton National Park in this time during summer and for a weekend. We spend one night in the beautiful townsite campground beside the Upper Waterton Lake.

This national park is one of the most beautiful in Alberta and maybe Canada, also is not that crowd as other parks close to Banff and Jasper. With Carla we went for two hikes one to the Anderson Lake and the second day to a unique hike and most spectacular in all Canada, Crypt L.ake .

In our first hike to Anderson Lake we were surprised by a huge lighting and thunder storm, with also hailstones. A scare adventure but a nice hike. The second hike to Crypt Lake is everything, boat, lakes, water falls, bears, woodlands, alpine terrain, brush and a scramble tunnel pass, just go and do it no doubts that is one of my top 3 hikes ever.
