Minnewanka and Lake Louise

Escapando el finde went for some easy  and short trails to two of the most famouse and beautiful lakes in Alberta, Canada Lake Minnewanka and Lake Louise.

In this opportunity escapando el finde went with Eva ( in her birthday), Julieta ( 1º day in Canada) and Carla to see this two spectacular lakes once melted. The first stop was at Lake Minnewanka with a light shower and the second one in Lake Louise with a nice weather and not busy at all.( trail on the left of the lake if you are looking to the glacier)

Escapando el finde se fue hacer dos trekking cortos y sencillos por dos de los lagos mas famosos y bonitos en Alberta, Canada, el Lake Minnewanka y Lake Louise.

En esta oportunidad, escapando el finde se fue con Eva ( en su cumpleaños), Julieta ( 1º dia en Canada) y Carla a ver estos dos lagos una vez descongelados. La primera parada fue al Lake Minnewanka con una ligera llovizna y la segunda al Lake Louise, con un tiempo espectacular y muy poca gente. (ruta que sale a la izquierda del lago según se mira al glaciar).

Trekking de triple Lago / Triple lake hike

Escapando el finde during a beautiful sunny sunday went for a hike to Lake Louise area, Banff National Park with Carla.

This is an easy hike with only 400 m and 7 km rounded trip. Because of the period of the year you would find snow all over and the three lakes frozen, Lake Louise, Lake Mirror and Lake Agnes. The views from the bottom of the Victoria Glacier and the valley from the top are spectacular. During the hike you can be able to see and hear the avalanches that happens.

At the top of the hike you find a small cabin the Lake Agnes Tea House where we made a great nap and have some snacks.

Escapando el finde durante un lindo y soleado domingo se fue de trekking por los alrededores de Lake Louise, Parque Nacional de Banff, con Carla.

Este trekking  es sencillo y consta de solo 400 m de desnivel y 7 km de recorrido completo. Por la época del año todavía se encuentra mucha nieve y los tres lagos Lake Louise, Lake Mirror y Lake Agnes están congelados. Las vistas desde la zona baja del glaciar Victoria y las del valle desde la cima son espectaculares. Durante el recorrido uno puede ver y escuchar las muchas avalanchas que se producen.

En la cima uno se topa con una cabaña Lake Agnes Tea House donde hicimos una siesta y comimos algo.
